Mitch Resnick, Professor of Learning Research at the MIT Media Lab, develops new technologies and activities to engage children in creative learning experiences. He was centrally involved in the development of the Scratch programming language, the LEGO Mindstorms robotics kits, and the Computer Clubhouse network of after-school learning centers. He has been awarded with the McGraw Prize in Education and the AACE EdMedia Pioneer Award. He is also the author of Lifelong Kindergarten: Cultivating Creativity through Projects, Passion, Peers and Play.
