Just read a blog post by Labour's Tom Harris where he took a test to see where he sat on a political spectrum and thought I'd give it a try.  If you had asked me before I would have said I was in the Economic Liberal camp.  Well if this test is to be believed them I am more left-wing than many in the Labour party including Tom Harris and I guess I could even be described as a Socialist (God forbid).  The only thing that has made me feel slightly better about this recent insight is that I find my political compass points in the same direction as great heroes of mine like Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama.
