In this episode of The Creative Life Podcast I talk with Erin McKean about how to give a TEDTalk. She is a lexicographer and founder of Wordnik.com which is the world’s biggest online dictionary. Before founding Wordnik she was the editor-in-chief of American Dictionaries for Oxford University Press. Her goal is to make every word in the English language “lookupable” - including the 52% of unique English words that aren’t currently in any dictionary. She is also the author of three books including her most recent ‘The Hundred Dresses’, a field guide to dresses. She’s been a columnist for the The Boston Globe, Wall Street Journal and New York Times.
