CL101: Environmental graphic designer Derek Friday on finding inspiration

Derek Friday is a multi-displinary environmental graphic designer who originally trained as a traditional architect before transitioning into integrated branding and environmental graphic design. In 2007 he founded Finndustry, a graphic design and brand development company, based in Boulder, Colorado and Hamburg, Germany. In addition to his projects across the US you’ll see Derek’s work in countries ranging from Poland and Hungary to Egypt and the UAE. When he’s not designing you’ll find him running up mountains and biking gravel.
