My mission is to ‘inspire creative minds’ and I believe that every single one of us is creative. My job is to inspire others to live a creative life, one of meaning and purpose.
What is your vision of a creative life? For me it’s about honoring the values and choices we make in our life. It’s as if each value produces its own unique tone. When we live our values, these tones combine to create a harmony or symphony that is as unique as we are. When we our not living by our values, there is dissonance and discord.
Balance is about creating a life that is purposeful, in action and aligned with your vision. Balance is not about making everything even but rather constantly making small adjustments during your journey. Sometimes this may be helping you break through blocks, developing resilience, changing perspectives at other times it’s about brainstorming strategies and tactics, and committing to certain goals.
Being present leads to a richer life, it adds more color and more depth. The best musicians, artists, authors, entrepreneurs and creatives I have worked with know what this flow state feels like.
I am passionate about learning and personal growth. To really get good at your creative work you have to develop both your craft and art. In my teaching I use offline (talks, books, retreats), online (courses, videos, podcasts) and blended methods to help you grow.
Creativity and innovation is an international language and I personally love the freedom and adventure of travelling to speak in different continents and countries. Many people who resonate with my message also value freedom and adventure highly.
Some folks love what I do while others hate it. That’s fine. I believe ‘your vibe attracts your tribe’. If you are a generally positive person with a growth-mindset you’ll probably enjoy what I do. If you are negative, racist, xenophobic, sexist, or a major grouch then you will not be welcome into our community.
Today you can automate many of the tasks and processes for running your creative business. I love learning and teaching others about the myriad of ways they can work smarter not harder.
I’m really proud to create, market and sell some of the best online courses, coaching programs and retreats in the world. My goal is to help you live a more Creative Life whether that’s by hearing me speak, attending my retreats, taking an online course or having me coach you personally.
I want to produce some of the best educational and training content on creativity you’ll find anywhere. I pay for the cost of creating this from my own pocket (no big sponsors) and the vast majority of it is made available for free. Every so often I will market my paid programs, products and retreats. These allow me to feed myself and my cat, give back and continue to product the majority of my creative work, free of charge.
