What is Extended Reality (XR)?
Extended reality (XR) is a broad term that encompasses any sort of technology that alters reality by adding digital elements to the physical or real-world environment by any extent, blurring the line between the physical and the digital world. Some may call it Phygital.
XR includes Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, Virtual Reality, and any technology.

Hello there, I'm James Taylor, a keynote speaker on creativity, innovation, and future trends. Currently, I'm in Milan, Italy, pre-recording a special keynote on NFTs (non-fungible tokens) in the metaverse. To film it, we're using something called extended reality in a studio here in the metaverse. Let me show you what's going on behind the scenes and share some footage of the final product. We have a lot of crew here today setting everything up, and we're really pushing the boundaries of technology. These technologies were previously used in the film industry but are now being applied to live events.
